TINTYPE PORTRAIT STUDIO

We utilize historic processes to create one of a kind handmade tintype and ambrotypes. Studio portrait sessions are offered periodically at Sarah’s studio in Cleveland, Ohio and Brooklyn, NY. Clients can choose from several locations, set ups and plate sizes. Each portrait session includes a high-res scanned and varnished tintype. For more information please check out the FAQ page

The Tintype studio in Brooklyn is currently closed through mid-Summer 2024, if you’re in New York and looking for a tintype portrait session, I highly recommend visiting Penumbra Foundation.

EVENTS + ON THE ROAD: The tintype studio and darkroom is fully mobile and available to be set up at your next event, pop up, market, or celebration! We’re happy to travel so no worries if you are not local. We can offer standard portraits but also welcome collaborations from venues to create a unique, more personalized portrait experience.
